MyĀ previous guide for RemminaĀ involved the use of Task Scheduler. Today Iām offering a recommended and excellent alternative for installing the latest Remmina version via Portainer. Remmina is a remote desktop client written in GTK, aiming to be useful for system administrators and traveling, who need to work with lots of remote computers in front of either large or tiny screens. Remmina supports multiple network protocols, in an integrated and consistent user interface. Currently RDP, VNC, SPICE, NX, XDMCP, SSH and EXEC are supported. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install Remmina on your Synology NAS using Docker & Portainer.
