
Tiki Wiki CMS is a free, open-source, all-in-one platform combining a wiki-based content management system (CMS), online office suite, geospatial CMS (GeoCMS), and groupware tools. Written in PHP under the LGPL license, it powers collaborative websites, intranets, extranets, and portals with features like flexible user permissions, customizable layouts, multilingual support (30+ languages), RSS feeds, logging, browser-based admin, and integrations for content creation, communication, and geospatial mapping via tools like Mapserver. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install Tiki Wiki on your Synology NAS using Docker & Portainer.
STEP 1

InstallĀ Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.
STEP 3
Make sure you have a synology.me Wildcard Certificate. Follow my guide to get a Wildcard Certificate. If you already have a synology.me Wildcard certificate, skip this STEP.
STEP 4
Go toĀ Control PanelĀ /Ā Login PortalĀ /Ā AdvancedĀ Tab / clickĀ Reverse Proxy. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 5
Now click the āCreateā button. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 6
After you click the Create button, the window below will open. Follow the instructions in the image below.
On the General area, set the Reverse Proxy Name description: type in Tiki-Wiki. After that, add the following instructions:

Check Enable HSTS

STEP 7
On the Reverse Proxy Rules, click the Custom HeaderĀ tab. ClickĀ CreateĀ and then, from the drop-down menu, clickĀ WebSocket. After you click on WebSocket, two Header Names and two Values will be automatically added. ClickĀ Save. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 8
Go to Control Panel / Network / Connectivity tab/ Check Enable HTTP/2 then click Apply. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 9
Go to Control Panel / Security / Advanced tab/ Check Enable HTTP CompressionĀ then click Apply. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 10
Go toĀ File Station and open the docker folder. Inside the docker folder, create one new folder and name itĀ tiki. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.

STEP 11
Now create two new folders inside the tikiĀ folder that you have previously created at STEP 10Ā and name them db and tiki. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.

STEP 12
Now create eight new folders inside the tikiĀ folder that you have previously created at STEP 11 and name them files, img_trackers, img_wiki, img_wiki_up, modules_cache, sessions, storage, temp. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 13
Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click onĀ HomeĀ thenĀ Live connect. Follow the instructions in the image below.

On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on StacksĀ thenĀ + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 14
In the Name field type in tikiwiki. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Before you paste the code above in the Web editor area below, change the value for PRUNEMATE_TZ.Ā (Select your current Time Zone from this list.)

STEP 15
Scroll down on the page until you see a button namedĀ Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.

STEP 16
If everything goes right, you will see the following message at the top right of your screen: āSuccess Stack successfully deployedā.

Now open your browser and type in your HTTPS/SSL certificate like this https://tikiwiki.yourname.synology.me In my case it’s https://tikiwiki.mariushosting.synology.me If everything goes right, you will see the Tiki Wiki installation page. Ignore the error message. Type in the default Database username and the default Database password. Follow the instructions in the image below. Type in the default Database Username and Database Password, then click Validate and Continue.

STEP 19
Click Continue. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Change the Browser title. In the Sender email field, type in your own Email Address. Scroll down the page.

Select Require secure (HTTPS) login. Type in your own Admin Email. Click Continue. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Click Enter Tiki and Lock Installer (Recommended). Follow the instructions in the image below.

Type in your own administrator password. Click Apply. Follow the instructions in the image below.
