How to Install Lidify on Your Synology NAS

Lidify is a Web GUI for finding similar artists to selected Lidarr artists. To use Lidify, it’s mandatory to Install Lidarr on your NAS. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install LidifyĀ on your Synology NAS using Docker & Portainer.

InstallĀ Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.

  • STEP 3

Install Lidarr using my STEP by STEP guide. If you already have Lidarr installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP.

  • STEP 4

Go toĀ File Station and open the docker folder. Inside the docker folder, create one new folder and name it lidify. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.

  • STEP 5

Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on Stacks then + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.

  • STEP 6

In the Name field type in lidify. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Copy Paste the code below in the Portainer Stacks Web editor.

  • STEP 7

Scroll down on the page until you see a button called Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.

If everything goes right, you will see this message at the top right of your screen: ā€œSuccess Stack successfully deployedā€œ.

The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Now open your browser andĀ type in http://Synology-ip-address:5213 At the top right of the page, click the gear settings icon. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Type in your Lidarr AddressĀ and your Lidarr API Key (check the screenshot below for the API Key) and the Lidarr root folder. Type in your Spotify Client ID and your Spotify Client Secret. Click Save Changes. Follow the instructions in the images below.

Open Lidarr. On the left sidebar click Settings, then copy your own API Key. Paste your Lidarr API Key in your Lidify Settings page.

  • STEP 12

On the Lidify page, click Get Artist List. Follow the instructions in the image below.
