FastTrack is a self-hosted docker application that tracks your fasting and bodyweight. It provides health monitoring and comprehensive analytics. FastTrack tracks health metrics such as intermittent and long fasts, calorie burn calculations, weight metrics such as BMI calculations and supplement tracking. Its features include beautiful color themes, including dark mode, secure user accounts with individual data storage, CSV import/export for data portability, calendar entry and beautiful charts and statistics for easy to understand analytics. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install FastTrack on your Synology NAS using Docker & Portainer.

STEP 2
InstallĀ Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.
STEP 3
Go toĀ File StationĀ and open the docker folder. Inside the docker folder, create one new folder and name itĀ fasttrack. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.
STEP 4
Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on StacksĀ thenĀ + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.
STEP 5
In the Name field type in fasttrack. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Before you paste the code above in the Web editor area below, change the value for JWT_SECRET. (Generate your own Random 64 length JWT_SECRET.)
STEP 6
Scroll down on the page until you see a button namedĀ Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.
STEP 7
If everything goes right, you will see the following message at the top right of your screen: āSuccess Stack successfully deployedā.

STEP 9
The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Now open your browser and type inĀ http://Synology-ip-address:3004 If everything goes right, you will see the FastTrack main page. Click Create one to create a new account. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Type in your own details, then click Create Account. Follow the instructions in the image below.
