How to Install Lunarr on Your Synology NAS

Lunarr is a self-hosted media streaming server and Plex alternative that lets you organize, scan, and stream your movie and TV show libraries from local disks, SFTP, or WebDAV. It automatically matches files with TMDb metadata, supports direct play and on-the-fly HLS transcoding with FFmpeg (including hardware acceleration), sidecar subtitles, Chromecast, and AirPlay. Built for headless servers, it offers personalized recommendations, continue watching, a modern web UI, and full API support. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install LunarrĀ on your Synology NAS using Docker & Portainer.

šŸ’”Note: This guide works perfectly with the latest Lunarr v0.5.0 release.

I also don’t have any POP-UPs or COOKIES. I have repeatedly been told over the years how much I have contributed to the community.
