How to Install IRC Client on Your Synology NAS

How to Install IRC Client on Your Synology NAS

In 1988, IRC (Internet Relay Chat) appeared, which open the way for real-time chat. Perhaps one of the most popular online chat models in the 1990s was mIRC, where users could chat in rooms (channels). It doesn’t matter what OS you use. The Lounge IRC client just works wherever Node.js runs. The self-hosted web IRC client can be installed on your Synology NAS. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install The Lounge IRC Client on your Synology NAS using Portainer.

💡Note: This guide works perfectly with the latest Thelounge v4.4.3 release.
