On August 9, 2026, Dockhand switched from version 1.0.40 to the new 1.0.41 version. Dockhand fixes the following issues and adds new options:

Fix: Backup and restore helper containers no longer emit a “container died” notification when they finish
Fix: Snapshots from another Dockhand instance sharing the repo now appear as restorable orphans
Fix: A stack restored to new locations always keeps its compose file and stays internal
Fix: Improved restic repository operations log (prune, check, repair index etc.)
Fix: Azure Blob destinations no longer fail with ‘invalid format’ on init
Fix: Backup destinations now have separate extra backup and restore flags
