Have you already installed SuiteCRM on your Synology NAS? If yes, I have finally come about to writing an article on how to set up Gmail notifications on SuiteCRM so you can now enjoy it to its full potential. See the details below.

STEP 2
Install SuiteCRM using my Docker Guide. If you already have SuiteCRM installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP.
STEP 3
Follow my step by step guide on how to activate SMTP for your Gmail account.
STEP 4
Click the Email Settings tab, then add the details below. Follow the instructions in the image below.
From Name: SuiteCRM or any other name that you want.
From Address: Type in your own Gmail address.
Select the Gmail tab.
SMTP Mail Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 587
Email SMTP over SSL or TLS: TLS.
Gmail Email Address: Type in your own Gmail address. / STEP 3
Gmail Email Password: Type in your own Gmail App Password / STEP 3
At the top right of the page, click Save.
Click Send Test Email.
STEP 5
After you click Send Test Email at STEP 4, a new pop up window will open. Type in an email address to send the test email. Click Send. Follow the instructions in the image below.
STEP 6
Click Close to close the pop up window. Follow the instructions in the image below.
STEP 7
Check the email that you have previously added at STEP 5.
