Synology Set Up Email Notifications on Changerawr

Have you already installed Changerawr on your Synology NAS? If yes, I have finally come about to writing an article on how to set up Gmail notifications on Changerawr so you can now enjoy it to its full potential. See the details below.

Install Changerawr using my Docker Guide. If you already have Changerawr installed on your Synology NAS, skip this STEP.

  • STEP 3

Follow my step by step guide on how to activate SMTP for your Gmail account.

  • STEP 4

On the left sidebar, click System Config, then Settings. Click Integrations. Follow the instructions in the image below.

System Email. Click Configure. Follow the instructions in the image below.

  • STEP 6

Select/Activate Enable Password Reset, then add the details below.

SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Username: type in your own Gmail Address. / STEP 3
SMTP Password: type in your own Gmail APP Password. / STEP 3
Select/Activate Use SSL/TLS
From Email Address: type in your own Gmail Address. / STEP 3

In the Test Configuration area, type in your own Email Address then click the Send Icon.
Follow the instructions in the image below.
