At the end of September this year Portainer surprised us by releasing version 2.9.0 which introduced Dark Mode and other important functions. Today, October 11, 2021, version 2.9.1 was released to the general public. In addition to important new implementations, version 2.9.1 of Portainer also comes with security fixes. It is advisable and, in my professional opinion, also mandatory to upgrade to this version since security improvements have been made.
What is Portainer? Portainer is a really awesome web UI for Docker. Portainer is a lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your different Docker environments (Docker hosts or Swarm clusters). Portainer is meant to be as simple to deploy as it is to use thanks to its user-friendly interface.
