Today, July 26, 2022, Portainer switches from version 2.14.1 to the new 2.14.2 version. It’s mandatory to upgrade since multiple issues have been fixed. The new Portainer 2.14.2 resolved the certificate file validation for .pem files. Also, the new Portainer 2.14.2 version resolves an issue where the original admin user was unable to change their password when external authentication is enabled.
What is Portainer? Portainer is a really awesome web UI for Docker. Portainer is a lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your different Docker environments (Docker hosts or Swarm clusters). Portainer is meant to be as simple to deploy as it is to use thanks to its user-friendly interface.
