On October 21, 2021 I announced that the Synology Discord Channel had exceeded 600 members and today, October 30, 2021, I’m here to tell you that the Synology Discord Channel has over 800 active members. What this means is that, while it began as a simple Discord channel, it has now grown into a Big Synology Community. Remember, once 7000 members have been reached, this will open the possibility for the Synology Discord channel to be integrated into the “Discover” section of Discord. The Discover section allows you to search and join the Synology Community directly within Discord, the added visibility making it possible for users to join more easily and the channel to become a real-time Reddit on Discord.
A DISCORD server will remain online forever. You can talk with users who are part of the Synology community Server and exchange opinions or discuss a problem via chat, audio or video. A few more days and we will be over 1000 members. A special thanks to our moderators on Discord who are constantly helping less experienced users find solutions to their problems on a daily basis.
What exactly is DISCORD? DISCORD is a freeware VoIP application and digital distribution platform designed for video gaming communities that specializes in real time text, image, video and audio communication between users in a chat channel. DISCORD runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux, and in web browsers.
