Reolink surprises us again with the new TrackMix WiFi video surveillance camera. The dual-lens camera of the TrackMix model captures both full-view and close-up images of the same event synchronously, and presents them on the same screen! I have reviewed several Reolink video cameras over the past few years because I consider them the best, not to mention they are one hundred percent compatible with Synology Surveillance Station software. The dual-tracking camera can pan, tilt (up to 355°H, 90°V) to auto track the object it monitors and show it in both the panoramic and zoomed view.
The new Reolink TrackMix WiFi that you can see in the picture below will get to be a part of my permanent video surveillance system, integrated with the advanced Synology Surveillance Station software. Up until now, I have been testing this camera and I’m beyond happy with it in terms of overall quality, and, like all Reolink cameras, it was easy to set up and simply intuitive.
What is in the Reolink TrackMix WiFi box?
In the camera box you’ll find a 1 meter LAN cable, an instructions booklet, insulation grommets, and some wall mount screws. You also get the power adapter for the camera and the WiFi antennas. And, of course, the camera itself.
Powering connections
In the image below you can see a close view of the LAN connection and the Power connection cables.

Remember to remove the protective film from the Dual-Lens.
Supports microSD Cards
The Reolink TrackMix WiFi supports the use of microSD cards. At the back of the camera there is a special slot where you can insert a microSD card in case you don’t have an NVR or a NAS available. This TrackMix camera supports 24/7 continuous, motion-triggered, or scheduled recordings. All the videos can be saved to the microSD card, Reolink NVR, Synology NVR or FTP server. Choose a way you like and enjoy customized security.
Quality Materials
When you hold a Reolink TrackMix WiFi in your hand, you quickly realize that you are dealing with a well-built product whose quality in the choice of materials and sturdiness stand out from the get-go.
Easy assembly
You can mount your new Reolink TrackMix WiFi camera on a wooden surface or directly on the wall of your house. Either way, its installation is easy and takes very little time. The case is IP66 rated which means the camera is protected from the ingress of dust and will survive strong jets of water so you can install it outdoors as well. Withstanding harsh weather outdoors won’t be an issue because of TrackMix WIFI’s robust and waterproof body – no issues with heat, cold or powerful jets of water. The rugged housing and body make this Reolink smart IP camera waterproof. It works perfectly both inside and outside your house, in any harsh weather conditions.
Dual-Band WiFi
TrackMix WiFi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz (5.8GHz) frequencies to ensure a stronger signal and a more smooth live view. Flexible to choose, easy to set up.
Performance at Night
When its spotlights are on, TrackMix WiFi provides full-color night vision. Even when there’s no light at all, its infrared LED still enables high-quality night recording videos. Reolink TrackMix comes with 2 IR LEDs and 2 Spotlights.
🍀Note: How much does the Reolink TrackMix WiFi cost? The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the new Reolink Duo 2 WiFi camera is 274 EUR/$ but, currently, the camera model is available at a discounted price of 247 EUR/$.
🍀Note: Does the Reolink Reolink TrackMix WiFi support PoE? No. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology for implementing wired Ethernet. If you need the PoE version of this camera, you should opt for the Reolink TrackMix PoE.
