
Termix is an open-source, forever-free, self-hosted, all-in-one server management platform. It provides a web-based solution for managing your servers and infrastructure through a single, intuitive interface. Termix offers SSH terminal access, SSH tunneling capabilities, and remote file editing, with many more tools. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install Termix on your UGREEN NAS using Docker & Portainer.
This guide works perfectly with the latest Termix v2.0.0 release.
STEP 1

STEP 2
InstallĀ Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your UGREEN NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.
STEP 3
Go toĀ Files and open the docker folder. Inside the docker folder, create one new folder and name it termix. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.

STEP 4
ā ļøMandatory: Add Read & Write Permissions to the Docker Folder.
STEP 5
Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click onĀ HomeĀ thenĀ Live connect. Follow the instructions in the image below.

On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on StacksĀ thenĀ + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 6
In the Name field type in termix. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 7
Scroll down on the page until you see a button namedĀ Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.

STEP 8
If everything goes right, you will see the following message at the top right of your screen: āSuccess Stack successfully deployedā.

STEP 10
The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Now open your browser andĀ type in http://ugreen-ip-address:5674 You will be prompted to create an Administrator Account. Click Register. Switch your theme to Dark. Type in your own details. Click Sign up.Ā Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 11
At the bottom left of the page, click on your admin name then Admin Settings. Uncheck the Allow new account registration option. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 12
Go to Control Panel / Terminal / Check to Enable SSH. Enable SSH service on port 22 then click Apply.Ā Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 13
Go to Host Manager to add your first host. Click + Add Host. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 14
Type in your local UGREEN NAS IP; NAS Username, in my case, Marius; NAS name, in my case, mariushosting; and NAS Password in my case, my nas password. Click Add Host. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 15
Click on your host terminal. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 16
Click Accept & Continue. Follow the instructions in the image below.

STEP 17
You are now connected to your UGREEN NAS via SSH! You can add multiple Hosts!
