BTOP++ is a resource monitor that shows usage and stats for processor, memory, disks, network and processes. Built with C++, it has a fast and responsive UI with UP, DOWN keys. BTOP++ is a continuation of bashtop and bpytop. It has a function for showing details stats for selected processes. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install BTOP++ on your UGREEN NAS using Docker & Portainer.

💡Note: This guide works perfectly with the latest version of BTOP++ v1.3.2

• STEP 2

Install Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your UGREEN NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.

• STEP 3

Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on Stacks then + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.

• STEP 4

In the Name field type in btop. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Copy Paste the code below in the Portainer Stacks Web editor.

• STEP 5

Scroll down on the page until you see a button called Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.

• STEP 6

If everything goes right, you will see this message at the top right of your screen: “Success Stack successfully deployed“.

• STEP 7

Go back to STEP 1 or you will deal with karma 🙂

The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Now open your browser and type in http://ugreennas-ip-address:7681 Enjoy your stats! Follow the instructions in the image below.

At the top left of the page, click menu then OPTIONS. Follow the instructions in the image below.
