JetLog is a self-hostable personal flight tracker and viewer. You can easily import data from MyFlightRadar24 in CSV format in JetLog. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install JetLog on your Asustor NAS using Docker and Dockhand.

• STEP 2

Install Dockhand using my step by step guide. If you already have Dockhand installed on your Asustor NAS, skip this STEP. ⚠️Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Dockhand version.

• STEP 3

Go to File Explorer and open the Docker folder. Inside the Docker folder, create one new folder and name it jetlog. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.

• STEP 4

Open your browser and type in http://asustor-ip-address:3866 to connect to your Dockhand container. On the left sidebar, click Stacks then + Create. Follow the instructions in the image below.

• STEP 5

In the Stack name field, type in jetlog. ⚠️Warning: Type in the name in lowercase letters. The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Copy Paste the code below in the Dockhand Compose Stack then click Create & Start.

Note: Before you paste the code above in the Stack editor area below, change the value numbers for PUID and PGID with your own values. (Follow my step by step guide on how to do this.)
Note: Before you paste the code above in the Stack editor area below, change the value for SECRET_KEY. (Generate your own 64 length SECRET_KEY.)

• STEP 6

If everything goes right, you will see the following message at the bottom right of your screen: “Created stack “jetlog”“.

• STEP 7

On the left sidebar, click Containers. Identify your Lunarr container then click on ports 3347:3000. Follow the instructions in the image below.

The installation process can take up to a few seconds/minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection. Now open your browser and type in http://asustor-ip-address:3347 Type in the default Username and Password, then click SIGN IN. Follow the instructions in the image below.

⚠️Warning: the default username is admin and the default password is admin

• STEP 10

At the top right of the page, click the horizontal dots. Follow the instructions in the image below.

• STEP 11

Click SETTINGS, then the ACCOUNT tab. Click EDIT ACCOUNT to change the default Username and Password. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Click + NEW FLIGHT. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Add your flight details. Click SAVE FLIGHT. Follow the instructions in the image below.

You can also import data from MyFlightRadar24. Go to MyFlightRadar24 > Settings > Export and download the CSV file. Go to Jetlog > SETTINGS > Import / Export then Upload your CSV file. Follow the instructions in the image below.
