Tautulli is a free, open-source web application that serves as the ultimate companion for Plex Media Server. It delivers real-time monitoring of streaming activity: whoās watching what, on which device, with bitrate, quality, and location along with complete watch history logs, rich analytics, graphs, and statistics for your entire library. You can send customizable notifications via Discord, Slack, email, Telegram and more, trigger scripts on events, and automatically generate beautiful weekly or monthly newsletters. Its clean modern dashboard lets you explore detailed media info and manage synced content. Tautulli runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Docker, and NAS devices like Synology, UGREEN, QNAP, Terramaster or Unraid. A companion mobile app is available for iOS and Android. In this step by step guide I will show you how to install TautulliĀ on your UGREEN NAS using Docker and Portainer.

InstallĀ Portainer using my step by step guide. If you already have Portainer installed on your UGREEN NAS, skip this STEP. Attention: Make sure you have installed the latest Portainer version.
STEP 3
ā ļøMandatory: Add Read & Write Permissions to the Docker Folder.
STEP 4
Go toĀ Files and open the docker folder. Inside the docker folder, create one new folder and name it tautulli. Follow the instructions in the image below.
Note: Be careful to enter only lowercase, not uppercase letters.
STEP 5
Log into Portainer using your username and password. On the left sidebar in Portainer, click onĀ HomeĀ thenĀ Live connect. Follow the instructions in the image below.
On the left sidebar in Portainer, click on StacksĀ thenĀ + Add stack. Follow the instructions in the image below.
STEP 6
In the Name field type in tautulli. Follow the instructions in the image below.

Note: Before you paste the code in the Web editor area, change the value numbers for PUIDĀ andĀ PGIDĀ with your own values. (Follow my step by step guide on how to do this.)

STEP 7
Scroll down on the page until you see a button namedĀ Deploy the stack. Click on it. Follow the instructions in the image below. The installation process can take up to a few minutes. It will depend on your Internet speed connection.
STEP 8
If everything goes right, you will see the following message at the top right of your screen: āSuccess Stack successfully deployedā.
