Synology: How to Find Your NAS Serial Number

Need to find your Synology NAS serial number? Whether you’re registering a new device in your Synology Account, contacting support, checking warranty status, or activating services, the serial number is required. Here’s the easiest and most reliable ways to locate it.

Log into your DSM and go to Control Panel / Info Center / General. Follow the instructions in the image below. You’ll see the Serial Number listed there.

Once you have the serial number, you can add the device in your Synology Account (via browser) by clicking Add Device and pasting it.
