Hello, guys and gals! Marius, your Internet friend here! Iām here to tell you that the Synology Discord Channel now has over 1000 active members. At this point it can be considered the largest community on Discord dedicated entirely to the world of Synology. There are several sections in the server dedicated to topics such as docker, general Synology problems etc. and channels organized by language criteria to serve the needs of different users. This month I have added 4 new text channels: Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai and Indian.
You can talk with users who are part of the Synology community Server and exchange opinions or discuss a problem via chat, audio or video. I am working hard to grow these communities that will benefit everyone with an interest in Synology.
A special thanks to our moderators on Discord (Dietrich, Flover, PalmTree, Tone the bone, sw0rdfish, guitar_pepito) who are constantly helping less experienced users find solutions to their problems on a daily basis.
What exactly is DISCORD?Ā DISCORD is aĀ freeware VoIP application and digital distribution platform designed for video gaming communities that specializes in real timeĀ text,Ā image,Ā videoĀ andĀ audio communicationĀ between users in a chat channel. DISCORD runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux, and in web browsers.
Note: Remember, once 7000Ā members have been reached, this will open the possibility for the Synology Discord channel to be integrated into the āDiscoverā section of Discord. The Discover section allows you to search and join the Synology Community directly within Discord, the added visibility making it possible for users to join more easily and the channel to become a real-time Reddit on Discord.
Note: I will keep you updated with Discord news from time to time because mariushosting is creating the best Synology communities accessible for free for all who are enthusiastic and passionate about technology. And it’s not only Discord, but also the largest dedicated Synology Community on Facebook.
